We board the train to begin our tour.
The interior was lined with some beautiful wood and the seats were comfy, too.
Entering our first tunnel.
We passed under a tree loaded with Howler Monkeys who were singing for us (well, probably yelling at us).
Some local children came out to see us as we rode by.
We then left the train and headed out for the boat ride.
The wood that they commonly use for fence posts take root and eventually grow into trees.
A large Iguana out sunning itself on a stone fence.
I love the interesting trees.
We then stopped for snacks (with yummy fresh pineapple) before boarding the river boat.
Here comes our boat.
The riverboat tour was a lot like boating the lakes and canals of central Florida.
A boy teaching his younger brother how to ride a bicycle outside of their stick-built home.
That large black blob is actually a termite nest - quite common in this area.
